Researchers from the American university of Vermont have examined 1700 books and found that all these books could be summarized using only 6 plots. These claims, however, came into question since the literature was not actually read by the experts, but analysed by a machine only looking at emotional language. Further, the novels examined were mainly dated within the last two centuries and hence, not actually showing the bigger picture of all literature.
Whether these findings are true or not, literature should play an important role in everyone’s life. Thus, Thy English Academy’s tuition and workshops, both, focus on important literature allowing the children to understand the language as well as the background of the novels.
