Since a mother has been injured in an accident on Sunset avenue after dropping off her daughter, the school has been fighting for more safety in front of their school gates. However, since the school itself is situated in the borough of Waltham Forest but the road is part of Redbridge, none of the authorities feel responsible for the situation. Hence, the head teacher, Mr. Prince has been addressing the authorities repeatedly to take action. In his opinion the only solution is to make Sunset Avenue a one way lane. The road is always incredibly busy and many of the older students walk to school independently. Due to the high number of cars parked around the school, it is very dangerous for them to cross the road. The situation remains difficult because of the opponent found in immediate residence in the area as well as the Waltham Forest Council.
