Head of Ofsted talks about his motivation

Sir Michael Wilshaw uncovered the problems and the achievements of the education system in an interview with the guardian. He believes that the schools have made reasonable progress in the time he was working as the chief of Ofsted, but also says at there is still much work to be done. Wilshaw states that he first chose to become a teacher in order to make a real impact in students’ lives and although he is about to resign from Ofsted, his work is not completed, yet.
