Hackney schools leading in the Country in GCSE results

The new system of evaluating GCSE results has shed light on the achievements of schools in Hackney. The new way of monitoring progress makes the development of students from starting secondary school to the point where they pass their GCSE easier to see. Overall, students in Hackney have improved by 0.35 which means that on average their grades have increased by about 1 third. The new model is supposed to make the comparison between results at different points of time of one student and results between schools more easily accessible.

The teachers at Hackney are more than happy to hear about this positive feedback and will continue to work hard on keeping up the high standards. If your child requires help with GCSE preparation, get in touch with one of Thy English Academy’s teachers or fill in the contact form on this website.
