Emily Koch, former deputy news editor is about to publish her first novel inspired by her work at a local newspaper. In an interview she says that her working environment was inspiring her to pursue her own project and she decided to go back to university to do an MA. Now that she has succeeded in getting her first book published she wants to share her experience in a workshop showing “how your local paper can be minded for great creative writing prompts”.
