Art and politics

Many opinions have been pronounced about Brexit. However, some of the most interesting are the ones that see a connection to Art. Art pieces are a way of expressing a person’s or culture’s views of the world. Analysts have now proposed that statues like the colossal one at St. Pancras International Station of a kissing couple show a sense of arrogance. Travellers who first arrive at the station might think that the Brits believe that they are better than the rest of the world and hence, this opinion might have led up to Brexit.

Examples like this show the greatness of the influence art can have on international relation. Misinterpretation also plays a big role in this question since artist might not have intended to communicate arrogance.
